After looking at many people's blogs and seeing how fun and interesting they can be, I decided to put together one myself. Yesterday was Easter and we spent some quality time with Zack's family. I decided to make a quick cake to ease the sweet tooth of us all. I think it turned out pretty good considering I slapped the cake together in a matter of a few hours. It was a vanilla sour cream cake with fresh strawberries and strawberry glaze filling.
I also delivered a Thomas the train cake this weekend to a family in Turlock. The cake turned out pretty good until the drive over there then the bottom decided to collapse underneath it. I was so disappointed :( Oh well live and learn!
